For the growth of subscribers/patrons of orchestras and our own streaming platform and attenders of our weekly ‘Symphony Night Live’ concerts, we are expanding our marketing team with a Global Marketeer.

Video streaming platform

Symphony is a new video streaming platform with a mission to reach and touch a global audience offering the most beautiful and impressive music ever created. Symphony live events go far beyond the performance. ‘Symphony Night Live’ offers an immersive experience with interviews, behind the scenes, talk shows and other unique content.

In co-operation with orchestras

To make this happen, Symphony started a unique co-operation with a growing number of world-famous orchestras, such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic and many more.
With the marketeers of these orchestras you will be working in close co-operation!

Engage music lovers

In the position of Global Marketeer it is your goal to grow the number of subscribers to Symphony’s streaming platform and the orchestras by engaging our and their huge fan bases and music lovers.
Are you up to this challenge?

Your own team

You will be in control of your own team consisting of at least a project manager, visual designer and video editor. Together with the heads of marketing and branding, you tune the strategy with your input and execute the plan. Next to this, you team-up with the marketeers of the international orchestras in the various countries. They will execute the local planning and events. It goes without saying that we also use external digital agencies to help us out.
Are you up to running teams and be the collaborating foreman (m/f/x)?

What is required

We are at the end of our startup phase and entering the market with a lot of growth ahead. This means that your profile/personality should fit such a company culture. It also means, that you can take control and partly design your position (instead of fitting in) and future. What we would like to see in you:

  • Strategic marketing thinking, but loving the planning, execution and refinements of the marketing activities;
  • Able to guide your team and the teams at the orchestras (or up to it);
  • At least 4 years of experience. Might be on agency side or client side (both is nice to have, same as at orchestra side) and preferably experience with running campaigns in several countries;
  • Online, offline, (paid) social campaigning experience, including knowledge and use of ads / business manager tools e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Affiliate marketing experience (patron subscription) would be lovely;
  • Proficient in the English language;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.

What you will find

You will be working with a fast growing core team of currently 20 colleagues (and an even bigger non-core workforce) based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Our streaming platform is about offering live experience of multiple symphony orchestras at which ‘you can’t get any closer’. We reached this point by challenging each other (and orchestras and stakeholders) to bring out the best ideas and workable plans to make it happen in co-operation.
